Wow, it’s been a second, guys. Where do I even begin??? I’ll probably just start rambling, and hopefully you can follow along with my stream of consciousness.

First off, you may have noticed a drought since the last strip, and that’s because I had finally gotten a chance to go on my honeymoon with my better half! It was amazing, we went to London and Prague and drank way too much and ate way too much. Highly recommended if you’re looking for 1 to 2 cities to visit outside of the U.S.

We took tons of pictures, and I’ve been using them as fun little warm-up exercises for drawing, check a few of ’em out! (click for biggens)

What else is going on?… Oh, yeah! We’re finally about to start playing our second season of Nerdsday! “But, Sam, aren’t you in the middle of posting strips for season 1?” That’s correct, disembodied voice. The updates to season 1 Nerdsday will continue (“until morale improves”), we’re just building a backlog of story text so we can jump right into season 2 when we’re done. Season 2 is gonna be a bit different, set in a post apocalyptic wasteland and all, but it will still be chock full of the shenanigans you’ve come to know and despise over at Nerdsday. And just for the fun of it, here’s some character designs of the new cast!

Anything else, you ask? Why certainly! We’re working on a super secret project, me and Max from Nerdsday, it’s gonna be a while in the making, but I feel that it’s something very special. I really cannot wait for it to be more formed so I can share more with you. But, I’ll try to provide you with as much details as possible (as they become more available), for now, though, here’s some little concept art!

That’s a lotta stuff goin on, I know! But it does bring with it some sad news, the updates for H.I.T. are probably going to be a little irregular for the time being. Really the only reason for that is so I can concentrate on making quality comics for you. I don’t want to rush anything anymore to try to hit a Friday deadline, only for it to be subpar. It’s not fair to you, it’s not fair to me. It’s just not fair to anyone involved who’s trying to find quality internet content. I hope you all understand and appreciate how difficult a decision this is for me to make, but really, all it means is that everything that will be produced from here on out (including all the projects listed above, as well as new merch) will just have that much more time devoted to them.
