#ArtDrop and the New Year
So another week has passed and I’m still alive and had free time, so you know what that means! (Maybe you don’t know what that means, but I’m gonna tell you anyway) Art Drops!
This week, in celebration of a local Renaissance Fair at a local non-Renaissance Park, the subject was a totally sweet, renaissance-y minstrel/bard guy:
This is the first Art Drop to contain old school pen and inks. I really like how the line work turned out, so maybe I might do some more old school inking practices with old school nibs and old school ink. I definitely want to continue pursuing this method of making lines on paper.
It was a really windy day when I had put this out in the wild, and it might have blown around from its original hiding spot, so just to reiterate, if you find this out in nature, it’s totally free and you should, like, totally pick it up and give it a good home!
If you have any questions about the when and where this and other Art Drops may be occurring, you can always check out the various forms of social media (like this one, or this one, or this) and they will point you in the right direction!
Also, since it’s the beginning of a new year, I thought I would give you a sneak peak at one of the new characters that will be gracing the panels of H.I.T.
I’ve got some pretty neat-o things planned for this guy (and I’m sure with minimal right clicking, you could figure out this guy’s name and have possibly an inkling of what he might do). Some of the plans may include a store. A store where you can buy things. Things that are totally cool and probably things that I would want also. I dunno, it’s a new year and it’s full of possibilities. You just have to keep twirling towards freedom.
